Despite the harsh implications of the novel coronavirus diseases that caused a global scourge, sensational Gospel singer, Mabel Okyere, says God made provision to see her through the unprecedented times.
According to the ‘Ode Aba’ composer, even though the government placed a ban on social gatherings that prohibited creative persons from mounting stage to perform she did not suffer the untold hardship the restrictions brought on her colleagues.
“Covid-19 had its implications on our lives but God knows his children. God really knows his children,” she told Original 91.9FM’s Father Innocent on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
The singer, therefore, asserted that persons who were hit hard by the implications of the pandemic which has so far claimed over three million lives globally do not have a cordial relationship with the almighty God.
“Perhaps, you don’t have a good relationship with him. If you serve him he will not disappoint you,” Mabel Okyere who’s a proud member of the Assemblies of God Church said.
Mabel Okyere further encouraged the public emphasizing on the merciful attribute of God that he will certainly extend his benevolence towards them.
“During the heightened stage of Covid-19 we played no show but God continued to provide for us. We should depend on him. The Lord who has begun a good work he will surely end it,” she averred.
