Veteran actor, Psalm Adjeteifio, believes he was cheated during his role in the popular Ghanaian Television series, Taxi Driver.
He said he was contacted by one John Kay who owned the Taxi Driver series and informed his intentions to make him the face of the series.
Psalm Adjeteifio played the lead role in the late 1990s and early 2000s hit series, Taxis Driver, which became the favorite of most movie watchers.
But the actor is currently facing financial constraints.
According to him, he agreed to work with the man but the man never told him the amount he would pay him for his role and he also didn’t ask how m uch he would be paid.
He indicated that he was being paid GH¢10 for every episode of the show.
Mr. Adjeteifio said it was quite recently that he got to know that he was supposed to be earning GH¢30 instead but someone was stealing GH¢20 from that amount.
Psalm Adjeteifio indicated that Mr John Kay knew nothing about this because he had ordered for him(Psalm Adjeteifio) as the lead character to be given GH¢30.
He revealed that his fellow actor Mikki Osei Berko told him about this and said he was earning GH¢30 at the time when the show was in its prime.
He also revealed that even some extras on the TV series earned GH¢15 for an episode but he was being cheated by an unknown person.
