Paul Adom-Otchere surprised Good Evening Ghana viewers when he showed his romantic side during Thursday night (February 11, 2021) episode of the highly-rated television show ahead of the Valentine Day on Sunday.
Valentine’s Day (February 14) gives lovers the opportunity to express their affection with greetings and gifts.
The ace broadcaster, who has anchored the flagship program on Metro TV for several years and won many hearts with his in-depth knowledge laced with analytical prowess rose to the occasion and surprised distinguished Ghanaian women to the delight of his viewers.
Holding a glittering Valentine vase, Adom-Otchere professed his unflinching love for Jean Mensa, chairperson of the EC, saying, “For me, my Valentine is an obvious one; I am sure everyone knows that. That is an obvious [one]. But now, I’m going to wish Valentine to some people; some important people. This is the first one, Jean Adukwei Mensa. All of you say with me happy Valentine madam.”
“Happy happy Valentine and you see her in court all the time. This lady (Jean Mensa) has been the subject of most photographs that you see on social media over the last three weeks. Photographs of her getting out of the car, walking into the courtroom, getting out of the courtroom; different comments. Generally, people praise her appearance, et cetera. Whatever people will say; the Electoral Commissioner; the chairperson of the Electoral Commission, madam Happy Valentine Day to you,’ the GEG host added.
Not only did Paul Adom-Otchere had some kind words for Jean Mensa, but the seasoned journalist also extended his Valentine’s Day regards to seven other eminent women specifically in the political sphere.
Mr Adom-Otchere poured flowery attributes while echoing mighty praises in their name in his special season greetings on the Good Evening Ghana show at 9 pm on Thursday.
During his orderly presentation, he sent out Valentine greetings to Mrs Julia Osei Tutu; the wife of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; first women and African head of World Trade Organization, and Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey; former Member of Parliament for Anyaa-Sowutuom and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Additionally, the media practitioner mentions; Mrs Ursula Owusu Ekuful; Minister for Communications, First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Second Lady Samira Bawumia, and Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, ex-President Jerry John Rawlings’ widow and founder of the National Democratic Party.
