Apply wisdom before you act – Gabriella Tetteh slams Rev. Owusu Bempah

A leading communication team member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ms Gabriella Tetteh, has taken aim at the head pastor of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah over his recent behaviour.

According to Ms. Gabriella, some actions of the controversial man of God are completely absurd and do not correspond with his age and position.

Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah and three others were picked up after allegedly assaulting police officers on Sunday, September 12, 2021.

The officers stormed his church premises to cause his arrest over a viral video capturing his bodyguards with weapons at the residence of popular priestess-turn-evangelist, Patience Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa.

However, the bodyguards of the preacher who boasts as the Spiritual Father of President Akufo-Addo resisted arrest and injured some officers in the process.

He was arraigned and subsequently granted bail of GH¢200,000 with two sureties.

Speaking on Original 91.9FM’s Adwenekasa Thursday, September 16, 2021, Ms. Gabriella Tetteh cautioned Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah against abusing his office and apply wisdom before he act.

She believes the office he holds is revered and as such, his behaviour shouldn’t have an estranged relationship with his actions.

“I heard yesterday that he [Owusu Bempah] has been granted a GHS200,000 bail [with two sureties]. The case hasn’t been discontinued.  On Monday they’ve to reappear in court for attacking a police officer and threatening another person,” she said.

Describing the incidence as “serious” the NDC communicator noted that “But he’s a big man. He should apply wisdom to his act. Some of his behaviour he should be mindful people are watching him, so, he should apply elderly wisdom.”

Gabriella further said “Some behaviours doesn’t befit old age. You hurl insults at people, threaten and curse them because of what? It isn’t elderly behaviour, it is his ill-manner.”

“He’s pleading for IGP’s forgiveness. He’s offended IGP not. The person he owns apology is Agradaa,” she averred.
