Ghana’s COVID-19 case count now 89, 737

Ghana has recorded a new 272 cases of the novel coronavirus disease bringing the total count case to 89,737.
 
The active case, however, is now at 4,782.
 
Out of the total confirmed cases 81,299 infected persons have recovered from the virus.
 
These were captured on the Ghana Health Service website on Thursday, March 11, 2021.
 
Meanwhile, the government of Ghana has rolled out a program to commence the mass vaccination of people living in some 43 epicenter-districts in the Greater Accra, Ashanti and Central regions against the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Among eligible persons for the vaccination program includes healthcare workers, frontline security personnel, persons with underlying medical conditions, persons 60 years and above, and frontline members of the executive, legislature, and judiciary.
