As part of measures to sustain the economy, the President Nana Akufo-Addo-led-government has halted all recruitment into state security agencies.
This was captured in a communiqué released by the Ministry of Finance indicating the government has told state security institutions to hold on with training due to lack of funding.
As a result, there will be no money for logistics and salaries for the new recruits if they were to complete their training
According to the statement available to Original News, recruitment will commence if the rightful clearance or instruction is communicated.
State security agencies including; the Custom Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS), Ghana Immigration Service (GIS), Ghana Police Service (GPS) and Ghana National Fire Service will be affected by this directive.
