Beginning today, Wednesday, 10 February 2021, Parliament’s Appointments Committee is vetting Minister-designates of President Nana Akufo-Addo to make a case for their approval for the positions.
The Minister-designate of Health, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, and the Minister-designate of National Security, Albert Kan-Dapaah, are appearing before the 26-member committee today.
The Appointments Committee starts with the vetting of the two Minister-designates due to the role they play in Ghana’s fight against the novel coronavirus disease which has caused scourge and affected global economy.
Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, who is also the Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central is currently seated answering questions from members of the Appointments Committee about himself and the ministry he headed during Akufo-Addo’s first term in office.
