NCA to shut down CACI TV, Kiss TV and 47 other television stations

The National Communications Authority (NCA) intends to close down some forty-nine (49) television stations across the country over authorized operations.

The Christ Apostolic Church International-owned television station CACI TV is among the affected media houses.

Also, Kiss TV belonging to renowned clergyman, Rev. Francis Antwi, known popularly as Rev. Obofour will be shut down over the same reason.

The move follows the closure of two television stations Thunder TV and Ice 1 TV owned and operated by celebrity fetish priestess, Nana Agradaa for operating without authorization.

Reports say the license of Thunder TV has been revoked by the National Communications Authority (NCA) since March 24, 2020.

Also, Ice 1 TV, operated illegally after its authorization expired in February 2020.
