The Ghana Education Service (GES) has rescheduled the reopening date of school for Senior High School (SHS), 3 students, to May 5, 2021.
Earlier, students were to report to school on Wednesday, April 7, 20,21.
It follows a proposal by the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools, (CHASS) asking the education body to reconsider the reopening date.
The GES in a statement on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, said it has heeded the call of CHASS and revised its academic calendar hence the resume date for SHS 3 students has been postponed.
The statement added that the reschedule “applies to all Form 3 students (single track and double track schools)”.
