A leading member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Madam Anita Desoso is advocating for the 7-year-old son of troubled actress, Akuapem Poloo to be separated from her.
Madam Desoso said the young boy should be relocated to a new environment and enroll in a different school as part of the rehabilitation plan.
“The child if possible should be given to some responsible people. I want the child to be relocated to a different town and change his school,” she said on Original 91.9FM’s Adwenekasa socio-political programme on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
Speaking to Kwaku Owusu Adjei, the former National Vice Chairperson of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), said Rosemond Brown famously known as Akuapem Poloo together with her son should seek physiological assistance due to the trauma they’ve been through.
Akuapem Poloo was found guilty of posting a nude photo of herself and her seven-year-old son on June 30, 2020.
She was charged for publication of obscene material and domestic violence by an Accra circuit court.
The actress pleaded guilty to all three charges and was convicted on her own plea by the court.
The presiding judge, Mrs. Christina Cann, bemoaned the spate of nudity on Ghanaian social media, maintaining that the punishment.
