Breaking the 8 will save Ghana from retrogression – Kennedy Agyapong

Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) holds the keys to Ghana’s progress and voting against the party amounts to retrogression.

According to him, the 2024 elections will determine the future of Ghana, and Ghanaians are doomed if the opposition National Democratic Congress is voted into power.

Speaking to Original 91.9FM’s Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Adwenekasa on Thursday, April 1, 2021, the outspoken legislator observed that the NDC has a history of mismanaging the economy and they will return to power to worsen the plight of the Ghanaian people, therefore, they shouldn’t be voted for in the 2024 presidential election.

“If Ghana will progress unless we have a third-term of the NPP, If not, the NDC will return to power and mismanage all the projects of President Akufo-Addo just as Atta Mills and Mahama mismanaged the economy to ruin President Kufuor’s path to progress

He further urged NPP scribes to refrain from announcing their presidential ambitions and focus on the development of the country owing the NPP retaining power for another tenure will largely depend on President Akufo-Addo’s achievements.

“It is not that simple. It isn’t easy. We need to work,” he added.
