I will support Akufo-Addo’s government – Allotey Jacobs pledges

A former scribe of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Bernard Allotey Jacobs has pledged his support for the President of the Republic Nana Akufo-Addo and his vice Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia for the development of this country.

According to him, it has become imperative for him to throw his support for these two because of the great leadership they portray in ensuring that the country is developed.

Speaking to Kwaku Owusu Adjei fondly called Pato on the Adwenepa programme on Original 91.9FM Friday morning, Allotey Jacobs stated that though he’s not either a supporter of the ruling party or of any interest to him to join the NPP, he owes his allegiance to the President and his vice.

He went on to state that the two leaders have changed the face of politics from mere propaganda to reality which is why he will rally behind them to accomplish their goals for the country.

Allotey Jacobs said the Planting for Food and Jobs initiative by the President Akufo-Addo-led administration has boosted his interest in farming and believes there will be a huge difference in Ghana between now and the next 10-12 years.

Meanwhile, the former Central Region Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has said he is no longer a member of the umbrella family.

“I no longer belong to the NDC. I’m not interested to be part of NDC,” Allotey Jacobs said on Original 91.9FM’s socio-political morning show, Adwenepa on Friday, March 5, 2021.
