We are repositioning for victory in the 2024 elections – Sammy Gyamfi

Mr. Sammy Gyamfi, National Communications Officer of the NDC has outlined a number of itineraries the opposition party has in place to put them on the right footing in preparation to be victorious in the next general elections.

The NDC spokesman said the performance of the ruling NPP has warranted the need for them to put their house in order and reclaim power in 2024.

Discussing their party plans on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana on Thursday, July 29, 2021, Sammy Gyamfi said, “After elections, every political party goes into reorganization and for a party like us which for some reasons was not victorious in the just ended general elections our objective obviously is to reorganize, rebuild and recapture power. So we’ve embarked on a number of activities to review our performance in the just-ended elections and to rollout certain activities and strategies in preparation of the elections ahead which is a must-win for us.”

Mr. Gyamfi said the kind of leadership displayed by the NPP does not provide any hope to Ghanaians, stressing that “NDC is the only hope of the majority of Ghanaians relative to the need to rescue this country and restore it back to the path of true development and progress.”

He noted that key holders of the party are tireless in their approach to make their ambitions fruitful.

“…we are working very hard. We have rolled out a number of activities. We’ve conducted a number of reviews in all the regions and very soon, we will be announcing our reorganization calendar.”

“I can tell you that, we will also be embarking on a membership card replacement and registration process very soon. But even before that, we will be embarking on a nationwide outreach program. So the outreach program will be the first program when we complete the reviews that we are currently conducting in the regions,” he emphasized.
