On Saturday in the Ghana Premier League, Bechem United stunned home side Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium (GPL).
In an away duel after six attempts, the Hunters thus recorded their first win against Inter Allies by ensuring a 2-1 victory over the Accra-based side.
With two changes to the squad that lost 1-0 to King Faisal Babes at Techiman last week, the Allies came into the game.
In the starting lineup, Richmond Lamptey returned from injury to replace Alex Aso, while Richard Acquaah was also replaced by Patrick Armah.
On the other side, Bechem United coach Kwaku Danso made three changes to the squad that kept the Aduana Stars to a scoreless Dorma stalemate.
Daniel Afadzwu was replaced in the post by Prince Asempa. Emmanuel Asante, meanwhile, came for Boubacar Sidiki Doumbia.
Just six minutes after recess, Captain Salifu Moro opened the scoring for the visitors from the spot, while the Allies also scored from the spot a few minutes later through defender Paul Abanga.
In the 83rd minute of the game, striker Hafiz Wontah Konkoni registered his second goal in the season, and the away side held on to it until the close of the game.
With that crucial away success, Bechem United have now gone four matches unbeaten, having managed two wins and two draws so far in the season.
